This 3 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari is a short Tanzania Safari taking on a memorable safari journey to Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most famous and rewarding safari destinations in Tanzania.

Your safari includes game drives in the endless savannah plains of Serengeti National Park on which you will see all the Big Five – lion, leopard, cape buffalo, rhinos and elephants as well as other wildlife species including gazelles, cheetahs, giraffes among others. In Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend and explore the Ngorongoro Crater, delivering diverse incredible wildlife sightings of the legendary Big Five and other animals calling the Ngorongoro Crater floor home.

Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Your Tanzania Safari starts early in the morning with pick up from Arusha, either at the airport upon arrival or at your hotel by our representative, your driver – guide. He will brief you about the safari, then drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Have a quick stop in Karatu for breakfast on your way to Ngorongoro, as you drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area you will enjoy a game drive en route.

Arrive in Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon and continue with a game drive till sunset.

The iconic Serengeti offers one of the most incredible game viewing in Africa with excellent sightings of herds of elephants and buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, giraffes and Grant’s gazelles, lions, leopards among others which are often seen on game drives.

Day 2: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake up early for a cup of coffee and head out of an early game drive on which you will witness the spectacular sunrise over the Serengeti plains. The game drive continues until the early afternoon offering incredible sightings of several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, rhinos, wildebeests, hartebeests among others. You will enjoy a bush breakfast and continue with the game drive till late afternoon.

After a picnic lunch you will drive back to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game drive en route, observing more animals called Serengeti home such as cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, hyenas among others. Arrive at your lodge in Ngorongoro in the evening, check in and rest as you wait for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro – Arusha

Wake up early for breakfast and with your packed lunch boxes, depart for a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Descend to the crater floor – a real life Eden hosting abundant wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater supports more than 25,000 large mammals including the remaining black rhinos, zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, hippos, elephants, hyenas and a number of aquatic birds which you will see during the game drives.

You will have a break for picnic lunch and ascend the crater and journey back to Arusha where you will be dropped off either at the hotel or at the airport for departure flight, bringing your Tanzania safari to an end.
