Terms and Conditions for Ratel Safaris

1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing and using Ratel Safaris.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Booking and Payments 2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Ratel Safaris. 2.2 A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to secure your booking. 2.3 Full payment is due 60 days prior to the safari start date. 2.4 Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other methods specified on our website.
3. Cancellation Policy 3.1 Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the safari start date will receive a full refund minus a $100 administrative fee. 3.2 Cancellations made 60-89 days prior to the safari start date will forfeit 50% of the total safari cost. 3.3 Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the safari start date will forfeit 100% of the total safari cost.
4. Travel Insurance 4.1 Ratel Safaris strongly recommends that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance. 4.2 Travel insurance is the responsibility of the client and is not included in our safari packages.
5. Liability and Indemnity 5.1 Ratel Safaris shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property during the safari. 5.2 Clients participate in safaris at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety.
6. Changes to Itinerary Ratel Safaris reserves the right to alter safari itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, weather conditions, or for the safety and comfort of our clients.
7. Passport and Visa Requirements Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports and necessary visas for their safari destination(s).
8. Health and Fitness Clients must inform Ratel Safaris of any pre-existing medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
9. Photography and Marketing Ratel Safaris reserves the right to use photographs taken during safaris for marketing purposes unless the client explicitly requests otherwise.
10. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda Wildlife Organization.
